Online Galleries Featuring Fabulous Women Artists

Online Galleries Featuring Fabulous Women Artists

As we come to the end of Women's History Month, I wanted to share with you some online galleries that showcase women artists. Our post-pandemic world has changed in many ways and online shopping is here to stay. The ability to shop for art without having to step foot in a gallery can be a plus for some buyers. Art does not have to be intimidating. Shopping for art in our pajamas from home?  yes, please! Click, click, click and the art arrives at your door? Yes, please! So let's get started. Read on for a list of online galleries featuring incredible work by talented women artists.

Liz Lidgett Gallery

From America's heartland to homes, office buildings and art collections across the country, the Liz Lidgett Gallery showcases the work of emerging and established artists from around the world. From playful pieces like Chili Crisp by Emily Furr to stunning landscapes to thought-provoking contemporary pieces like "The Inside of Every Fridge is a Self-Portait" by Paige Ledom, this gallery offers a diverse selection of art to suit every taste and budget. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, Liz Lidgett Gallery is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts.

Well and Wonder

Well and Wonder is an online gallery curated by Mollie Creason featuring a handpicked selection of artwork by women artists from the American South. You'll taste this unique flavor with a dive into the website. Current art for sale includes Amy Crews' magnolias and highball glasses and Ariel Harder's oysters. Mollie believes in the power of art to tell a story that binds communities together to create meaningful connections. When you're looking for beautiful art with a taste of the South, Well and Wonder has you covered.

The Scouted Studio

The Scouted Studio is a curated online gallery by Charleston Art Coach and Artist Hayley Price White that features a diverse selection of artwork by emerging and established women artists. With a focus on contemporary pieces, this gallery offers a range of styles and mediums to suit every taste.  I love Britt Ford's hydrangeas, Delie Putnam's sculptural flowers and Lisa Anne Tindal's soulful work.  Whether you are drawn to bold, colorful abstracts, figural pieces or serene landscapes, The Scouted Studio has something for every person and budget.

I recently caught up with Hayley to ask what it felt like to be a platform for so many women artists. "I love seeing these women define their own versions of success—whether that means supporting their families, proving to themselves (and their kids) that they can do anything, or simply having the freedom to create on their own terms. Watching artists take control of their careers, gain confidence, and see their hard work pay off is truly the best part of what I do."

Online art galleries have made it easy not only for collectors to view art for sale, but also for women artists to be able to participate in the art market, while tending to their many duties as daughters, sisters, wives and mothers: a win for collectors, families, galleries and art collectors alike!

Happy Women's History Month and happy art collecting!

XOXO,

Anne
