Four Ingredient Blackberry Sorbet

Four Ingredient Blackberry Sorbet

Are you looking for a refreshing and EASY summer dessert? Look no further than this easy Four Ingredient Blackberry Sorbet Recipe. This delicious treat is so easy; my twelve year daughter handled the entire thing.  I just helped pick the blackberries.

At our Bay Cottage we have a brambly blackberry-covered hillside that goes down to the Chesapeake Bay. This full-sun hillside faces Kent Island and the greater Eastern Shore of Maryland.

We didn't plant a single berry bramble.  I like to think of the migrating birds who helped plant this hillside with gratitude for the gifts and bounty they have given us.  Throughout the summer this hillside is covered in red berries that ripen to deep purple blackberries that are naturally sweet and packed with antioxidants and vitamins.

We gather these berries throughout July and keep them in a colander in our fridge until we have three cups of berries.  Then we make this rich and very easy four ingredient blackberry sorbet.  You should make it too!  When one of the ingredients is water and two others are salt and sugar, you know this is going to be easy!

XOXO,

Anne

Thanks for sharing, Anne! I also grow blackberries and had quite a bumper crop this year.
